Hard to believe that June is just about over! Hope everyone's summer is off to a great start.
Just a quick reminder that we are nearing the end of time for our Suit Drive to benefit Safe Harbor. Please plan to bring your donations to the July luncheon meeting on July 12, or you may bring your donation and drop off at my office - McAngus Goudelock & Courie, 75 Beattie Place, Suite 300, Greenville, SC 29601.
We are also kicking off our annual School Supply Drive for A Child's Haven. This year, A Child's Haven is graduating 14 students to "big school." We have been given a special needs list for each of these 14 children. Due to some budget cuts and new rules, some of these children will not get the supplies they need without some help. I would like see if we can pull together and see what a difference we can make. Please consider sponsoring one child (more than one person can sponsor the same child) to fullfill all the items on that child's wish list. Perhaps you can share your child's list with your office to fullfill the wish list. My grandmother used to say "Many hands make quick work." Stay tuned for more information.
